TRASHCAN

Issue 01Curated AI WasteEnglish Edition

Most AI projects are disposable. That does not make them empty.

Trashcan is an editorial space for fast-made, half-finished, and easily discarded AI projects. Not because they deserve preservation by default, but because the pile still contains signals worth reading.

Manifesto

Speed creates waste. Waste still reveals intent.

Trashcan looks at discarded AI projects as residue with editorial value rather than automatic cultural value.

Archive Note

A landfill is also a record of what a culture keeps producing.

The pile is useful because it shows repeated ambitions, not because every artifact deserves preservation.

Signal

Some projects fail as products and survive as evidence.

The useful part may be timing, interface instinct, or a product pattern that was not ready yet.

Sorting

Projects first.

Trashcan groups material by project rather than by model, tool, or trend so attempts remain legible.

Trashcan does not sort by model, tool, or trend. It sorts by project. Each entry belongs to a specific attempt, with its own ambition, failure, and leftover value.
